Xoserve / changing supplier

Hi

I am currently having issues changing supplier.

Towards the end of last year I switched supplier from Outfox to First Utility. The electricity switch went through and this commenced on 1st January.

However, First Utility say they cannot start supplying my gas as the address attached to my MPRN is incorrect on the Xoserve database. In order to get this updated, my current supplier have to contact Xoserve.

They say they have tried to update Xoserve on three occasions but their requests keep being rejected.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I'd raise a complaint with your current supplier normally gets the right people involved to push it over the line.

Requesting updates of the national database can be tricky, and many do get rejected but they should have identified the issue and got it sorted.
