Rad going cold & humming after a boiler swap

Wonder if anyone can advise me.
We've finally had our new boiler installed after being let down by someone I know over the past few months. I took a recommendation from someone I work with who has just moved home and had a new heating system installed.
It just seems like they've dumped it on the wall and moved the pipes and said 'finished', without checking the installation works as it should.
The work was done over the weekend whilst I was away. Kinda regretting it now. We got home today and they've left a lot to be desired. Only 1/2 tidied up after themselves. The wiring looks a mess. The Nest isn't doing !!!!!! all (the relay in the heat link works but the boiler doesn't respond). There's no evidence to suggest that the've followed any of the Intergas commissioning process either. I've had to bleed 3 rads full of air. The condensate drain isn't finished etc.
We have one rad in the kitchen that (was bled) is now making a humming noise and has gone cold. Prior to the boiler change we didn't have any issues. The boiler has gone from the kitchen downstairs to airing cupboard upstairs. It's now one of the rads furthest away, but all of the rest of the rads in the house are getting hot and being quiet.
I've turned it off and called him back tomorrow.
Thoughts please?
