I'm so bloody mad - she only started coming to see us when we had Mollie - first and only grand daughter, she hadn;t seen sam for nearly 3 years before Mollie was born :mad:0

  That is awful!!!! What the hell kind of excuse is that?????
Could somebody please advise me if I am wrong or not, basically its Sams birthday today and a card hadn't arrived from MIL so OH phoned her up to see if she was coming tonight - we like to be forwarned you see. She said no, so andy asked her when she was going to give sam a card/present and she said she wasnt as she has 6 grandsons ( 1of which is Sam) 3 are andys brothers and his wifes and the other two are andy half sisters (MIL remarried and had her) so she was now only buying for his half-sisters two boys as they belonged to andys step-father which is bad enough but she said as Mollie was the only grand-daughter she would be buying her presents etc.
Now I know I have no right to talk as my mother is/can be a cow but she wouldnt miss either of her grandchildrens birthdays/christmas etc and she wouldnt do one without the other ITMS but I think this is totally out of order and Andy is fuming and has told her not to bother with Mollie if she isnt going to with Sam. I dont see why sam has to be treated differently to his cousins even though they dont have the same grandfather.
Am I wrong - I know its expensive having 7 grandchildren but surely they should be all treated the same????? Its not as if thye are short of money but thats beside the point, She didnt even have to buy him a present - just send a card????????? What I am going to say to Sam when he gets home from school??? I'm really angry and need some advice before I blow my top  She has always maintained that Andrew and his brother have always been treated the same as his half sister ( a lie!!!!) but now shes treating our son and by the sounds of it Andys brothers boys differentTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Zed - with us it's not based on whether or not you pay it off, but on a complex matrix (allegedly) that we are not allowed to see, that takes into account income and overall borrowing levels. Not sure what other companies are basing it on though.
I'm glad you said allegedly there...
Never mind - early next year I'll be rid of them."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Are they really bad? It's just it would cost me £37 a month for what I'm currently paying £40-odd for (and then there's the Quidco incentive, if that's still on by the time I get round to doing it).
Service with BT is patchy. Sometimes they are a great big steaming pile of !!!!!!. And other times they don't steam.
Always call during office hours. That is the best chance of getting a native speaker of English. If you get through to the indian call-centre, give up before you lose the will to live."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

just called the music shop about my bass AGAIN
'apparently' they've discovered that while it's making the crackling/buzzing noise and someone holds the tone dial.. it stops doing it.
they think it's either... the tone dial/the wiring to the dial or something that haven't figured out yet... they're going to call me when it's fixed. *sigh*
failing that I'll have to hire a midget to hold my dial while I play.
