vanquis ROP refund

hello. Not sure if I'm on the right board but does anyone know the deadline for hearing about a rop refund from vanquis?
I know I had a card approx 7-8 years ago with rop on it but am not sure if I am due a refund on it? I have made sure they have my correct contact details as I married & moved since I had the card.
For info I maxed out the card over a few years & eventually it was passed to capquest but I repaid them in full
Should i contact them ?

No one is "due" any refund.

You need to have a valid mis-selling complaint and if you do then you are at liberty to send it to them.

However, your mention of a Debt Collection Agency suggests that this account defaulted and was sold on so any PPI redress would be offset against monies written off as part of that default.
  • thank you for your reply....

sorry I meant the refund of the rop interest not the rop itself. There's an article on this site about it & the vanquis website said you do not need to apply for it.

Also as soon as the account was passed to capquest I paid it in full due to a well timed PPI pay out!!

By the time it was sold on, your debt would already have long since had interest and charges written off...

You can contact Vanquis, but I doubt you'll be getting anything if you have yet to hear anything..
