Yes we know about it but it's over a year old. Still good to quote, though, as the Judge might not realise the utter scammery and the fact that the background to this was, the Government singled out parking firms as the worst culprits:

    That official yougov link says:

    - assess the role of parking companies & examine how drivers are informed of fines

Never, ever, send something by a signed-for tracked method, to a PPC.

Obviously that hands them the chance NOT to sign then you have tracked proof of NON DELIVERY!

Email it to them. I am sure the PCN gives an email address? CEL email addies have been quoted here before, as ce-service something or other

    Hi All,

I have found these two emails online: appeals@ce-service.co.uk & office@ce-service.co.uk.
I have sent an empty email yesterday to check that the emails address still working. I didn't receive any non-delivery notification from outlook, which mean theses email addresses are still working.

    Hi all

I have been this morning in the court. it takes only 15min. the judge agreed to set aside the CCJ (I will receive a letter that will be used to remove the CCJ from my record). So he was convinced that the PCN was sent to an old address. he also express his concern about increasing the pcn from 30 to £254.88 and then to £353.48 so he will ask the claimant what sort of damage did I cause to increase the PCN that much.

I would like to think you all for your help and input that u have provided in filling the N244 form, writing the statement and skeleton, special thanks to Coupon-mad for her quick replies. I will keep updating you all.

    .... and gals.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Although you need to save the court correspondence over this hearing, the Court will ensure that the ccj is removed from the records

You can check out the registry trust website (trustonline) later this week to be sure, though allow as long as 4/6 weeks for it to get removed from the free CRAs
