Changing t&c's after purchase

Hi there,
I'm hoping to get some advice on a very frustrating situation.
I bought a voucher in December on Groupon for a spa day. I tried to book this in January for a weekend in March, but was told they didn't book that far in advance and to phone at the end of February. So I phoned this weekend to book the spa session, only to be told that weekends were now reserved for hotel customers only so I had to book a weekday.
My original terms and conditions stated this voucher was for Saturday's and Sunday's only (I have a screenshot of this), which was why I purchased it. On contacting Groupon for a refund, they have refused on the grounds that it is outside the 'cooling off period' and that they emailed me the day changes. In this response, they stated the days available were now Monday to Sundays, therefore weekends should still be available.
Am I right in thinking that I should be entitled to a refund, as the service advertised is not service that I am able to get?
Thank for your help

You are correct, if your original contract was for Weekends and you are not now entitled to that you are entitled to a refund or for them to make an exception and allow you to go on a weekend.0 -
Monday to Sunday is 7 days so the terms have changed for the better.
Of course you have no rights, Saturday is still available so whats the problem? Buyers remorse?0 -

Can you read? The hotel is stating the voucher can not be used on weekends. On what was originally a weekend only voucher.0 -

Perhaps the OP having bought a voucher for a Weekend is not in the slightest bit interested in how many days other than what they bought that they can use the voucher.
This has nothing what ever to do with Buyers Remorse
Do you really think this or are you trolling?
The OP has every right to unwind the contract

The change of t&c is a red herring, the supplier is not willing to adhere to either set of terms. You are due a refund.0

If they wont let you use it on a weekend yes you should be entitled to a refund
Now unless the op meant Sunday to Monday then that's only 2 days. They also state weekends should still be available, why would they say that if it was just Sunday and Monday?0 -
If you can use it Monday to Sunday how many other days a week do you want to use it? The 8th or 9th day?
It was a weekend only voucher and now appears to be a whole week voucher. What's the problem?
Check with the hotel and convey the Groupon response to them. If they still argue then try a charge back from your card. It sounds like a mix up so check as this should be a whole week voucher.0 -
Yes I did read it, Monday to Sunday means 7 days does it not?

Groupon said weekends should be available but unless the spa have agreed to that it makes no difference.
Groupon have now changed the terms to allow use on Monday to Sunday (7 days) instead of Saturday-Sunday (2 days). The spa still only allow hotel customers at weekends though so the change by Groupon is irrelevant to OP.
That's how I read it.0 -

She's not written the initial post in Swahili, I really can't see how this is difficult to understand.- Woman buys voucher which is valid for weekends.
- Woman attempts to use voucher and hotel tell her it is not valid for weekends.
- Woman complains to Groupon who say it is valid all week, but since it's not them redeeming the voucher that's not really much help.
