Debt Collection letter even though appeal is still with POPLA

Had received notice from "CP Plus'. Appealed with them and they rejected.
It is now with POPLA & they send me debt collection letter from "DRP Debt Recovery Plus".
Due to this and there actually was no breach of contract as pointed out to them plus other BPA breaches such as only 1 sign in obscure location, have they breached GDPR by passing on my personal details?
I will make complaint but wanted to check GDPR status first as knowledge is limited on it.
Thanks
