How to approach a builder to fix a mistake

Thanks all. So, we haven't used the shower and have been careful not to wet the floors. I was out of the house most of today and dried the wall as much as I could before I left. When I returned, water was still dripping. It is now obviously the shower but my fear is that it's something other than the obvious place that was not sealed. Like he has aligned the waste pipe properly and the only fix will be cutting the whole thing out again. Any advice about what to do with the wall and ceiling?
Should I lift up the floor boards or just wait it out?0 -
Is the shower tap /shower head pipework connected properly ?0
