Help - repeated moving traffic contravention

Hiya,

I need help please.. sorry its a bit long winded!

From 18/11/18 my grandmother was gravely ill in queens hospital Romford and I was visiting her regularly, she subsequently died on 19/1/19. I was visiting her nearly everyday in hospital. I followed the route provided by my satnav (I would always put it in my car sat nav as there was always traffic and would rush to get there before visiting hours finished) and owing to my state of mind and haste to visit her, I was not aware that I committing a moving traffic offence.

I now know that the sat nav each time took me through a bus lane which I wasn't aware of at all (as I was just following the sat nav) So far I have no received 3 of these fines in total and I have appealed each one with the reasons above explaining that my nan was in hospital and that I was following the sat nav.

The first 2 PCN notices I received was not issued until nearly 2 months after the offence and the third one that I received today (25th feb) was from the offence committed on 30/12/18. In my appeal I stated that had I been notified sooner I would have been made aware that I was committing an offence and thus avoided the possibility of any future PCNS.

I am really worried that I have so many more of these coming and I'm not sure the best way to deal with this. I haven't heard back from the 3 appeals that I have made so far.

I understand I have committed an offence but it was completely unintentional :(

Can anyone offer any advice on the best way to handle this please?

Thanks so much xx
