Very impressed with John Lewis

In contrast to the earlier thread about JL on a different matter, I have been very impressed with the outcome of my recent problem.
Four months ago I bought a set of quite expensive mugs, together with other crockery in the same range. (I was replacing all my crockery which was ancient and showed it, and when I saw this design, I thought I would treat myself!)
I have used the mugs on a daily basis ever since. Recently, while pouring water into one of them, I heard a crack and the cup started leaking from near the bottom. Obviously there must have been a fault, as I have never had a mug do that before.
I contacted John Lewis with all the details and some photos.
Anyway, I heard from them this morning, and not only are they replacing the mug, but because it is part of a set, they are giving me the whole set.
Congratulations, JL, you have come up trumps! :T :T
