CC Financial Assessments?

I got this letter recently from Lloyds saying they are refunding me undue charges after a assessment or review of my account?

I did not request this they done it themselves?

Can this be done in all credit card/bank account or even all financial products like mortgages and insurance?

  • If a lender has made an error, they will correct it and refund.

it's very unusual for them to sort out errors from their end unless you highlight it. Begs the question what errors are in other financial products elsewhere.
  • Not really. It's very common.

There's been a significant number of instances of readjustments over the last few years. Fees, annual statements, TCF and so on.

Obviously if you have a specific concern, then raise it with them.
