My washing machine keeps tripping my fuse box, but why?

Each time I use a 60 wash, my fuse box keeps tripping, is this something I need to be worried about?

You need to get an electrician to look at it. It looks like the circuit is being over loaded or there is something wrong with the machine. A washing machine repair technician will probably refer you to an electrician.

Yes. There's probably a fault with the washing machine or the socket it's plugged into. Get it looked at by an electrician.

Carbon dust from worn down brushes a very common cause of leak to earth tripping on washing machines. Possibly damp getting to heating element electrics, but check the easy thing first. Just clean the armature with a paint brush get all the dust away. may be a good time for new brushes.
