Secondary cancer and travel insurance

I'm Stage 4 bowel cancer and on palliative treatment as I'm "treatabe not curable" so am on constant chemo - had 48 rounds so far.
Have used Eurtunnel for travel insurance at a cost of around £80 for an annual policy covering mainland Europe for me and her indoors.
The only criteria was that you were not travelling to have treatment and that you were fit for travel, So long as that is satisfied, there do not appear to be restrictions on cover.
As also mentioned the EHIC should work, although maybe not after all this brexit bollox is done.
USA etc is another ball game all together.0 -
Onan, that is the sort of personal experience and advice I was hoping for.
I am also treatable but not curable, but on round 3 so far (whereas you are a veteran. Respect). I will check out Eurotunnel asap.0
