Bought laptop from curry’s store opened box can I return it?

Hi looking for advice. My son bought a laptop from a curry’s store on credit. He collected it on Monday brought it home opened it to look at but has since decided he has made a mistake and doesn’t want it. He has yet to make first payment for the laptop and the laptop hasn’t been used. What rights does he have (if any). Thanks for reading

They are pretty strict about their returns when purchased in store.
If he takes it back and if they ask he can say it was already opened.
As long as the laptop and accessories aren't all unsealed and the laptop hasn't been turned on it should or might be be ok.0 -
I hate to say but Currys can be notoriously awkward with reruns. If he asks very nicely they might allow it but you might be lumbered with it.0
