Question about Farrow and Ball Paint

If there are any people, who know anything about FB paint, I'd be grateful if you could give some advice or share your experience.
I hired a decorator to paint 2 rooms in the house. Wanted to make them look nicer, so went out and spent a bit more money than I probably should have done to get FB estate emulsion. Yes, I am a marketing victim
Anyway, the decorator did his job yesterday and left for the night. Today, he comes back and the paint is crazing/cracking in places but not everywhere. Neither of us can understand what the issue is. He is a professional decorator hired on recommendations of several people I know. Experience man. Always did a good job for everyone who used his services, so his ability/experience isn't under question.
Previous paint was also FB. I know that because the previous owner rather helpfully left some unfinished paint when we bought the house. We have no issues with damp on the walls or anything of the sort. And the decorator let the first coat dry out properly before applying the second.
Can anyone please give me an ideas as to what's going on and how to address the issue?
Thanks

How was the wall prepared before repainting (as much detail as possible)? How do Farrow and Ball recommend prepping? Check their website or e-mail them if you are unsure.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

It's likely that the areas have been painted with something that isn't absorbant. Could be a vinyl silk paint, PVA or damp blocker, or even patches of gloss.
It's not crazing because it's F&B, persay.
FWIW, I don't think it's marketing spin. I think F&B has a very different quality of colour. If you're sensitive to it, it isn't marketing. If you're not, then it is.
You need to look at what the areas are and what's behind.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
