Is an MOT wash really necessary?

I do clear the boot of my car of all the stuff I usually cart about, to make it easier for the MOT tester to examine the spare tyre, which is stored under the boot in my car.

spare wheels and tyres are not inspected.as part of the MOT

Mot system is kind of meltdown. It is not necessary to have MOT wash at all.
