How long is the street in question? If it's a small close for example, there's no harm in knocking on doors asking if they've had your delivery.0 -

The problem is, the street in question may be a long way away as the OP is in Wales and the item was delivered to an address in England.
It might be fairly close, then again it might be half way across the country.0 -

Looking online it looks very small, and not enough houses to reach my house number. However as mentioned it’s a bit far for me to go door knocking and will probably cost more in fuel than the camera cost.
I contacted yodel again this afternoon, and was told again that their contract is not with me but with the sender of the item so they can’t give me the full information. I used online chat so I could email the transcript to myself as some written evidence. However they’ve said that too much time has passed now (I waited two months for my PayPal claim to be investigated) and yodel closes all cases after two months.
Hopefully someone reads this and it results in them avoiding a situation like this one that I’ve ended up in.0 -
I would suggest contacting Paypal again and see if they will reopen the dispute and if they will, send them the transcripts of the online chat as proof that Yodel have delivered to the wrong address.0

It makes no sense that Yodel would deliver to a completely different country, let alone address, tell you part of the address but then not tell you it all. How would they know where it went if the address label was YOUR address? You have no contract with them, so they wouldn't be able to tell you a single thing.
If you are going to come on here with a story, at least get the "facts" correct.0 -

From GPS tracking, that's how.
Had this recently with DPD, who "delivered" an item to me, yet nothing turned up. Although the contract is with the sender etc. etc. they looked on their system, confirmed it was delivered and signed for by someone under my name.
I asked if they could see the GPS location, they could. Although they wouldn't tell me where it was, I told *them* where I suspect it had been delivered (right number, nearby street), and pointed out that you can see that's not the address on the label, is it?
It got resolved, fortunately.0 -
Camelot 1971 I know it makes no sense and I’m as baffled by it as you are but that’s what happened. They interviewed the driver which is how I know where it did go, and it clearly wasn’t the address on the label.
The ‘facts’ are as I’ve told them. As I said, I’m baffled how it happened and how to resolve it which is why I posted on here. If I had all of the answers I wouldn’t have created an account and joined a forum to ask for help.0
