Transferring Game Progress To New Android Device via Google?

I used to enjoy playing Cooking Fever, and sometimes spent money on it to buy various things, however my tablet has now broken so I need to buy a new one, is there any way I can transfer my game progress over if I log into Google Play?

It does say in the entry for it on the Play Store (my emphasis):
