DIY Party Wall Agreement

OH and I are about to start a small dormer loft conversion in a mid terrace house. Both adjoining neighbours are happy for us to go ahead and sign anything to that effect.
Are we therefore able to navigate past expensive party wall surveyor fees and provide our neighbours with a party wall agreement letter ourselves?
If so, how do we go about it?
