I have got all my books back bar 2 and iv got £768 in orders and 5 more new customers
with my customer base growing with every book ive took my daughter back on,so she is made up lol.
Im going to ask for some more streets after book 6 i normally give every house 3-4 books and if they dont order then i im going to post a card through just saying " im very sorry you havent ordered out of the avon books so im going to give you a break from receiving the books,i will post again in a few months time, but if you do wish to order or would still like me to post you a book please give me a ring",and i will put my number.
lil_miss_sunshine is there a councile estate that you could try? i know that there are a few more streets near me that arnt been done,0 -
I am bit nervous about excepting cheques as payment from complete strangers, would it be wrong/rude/against the rules if I just said please pay cash upon delivery?
not only do I worry about cheques bouncing I also can hardly get to the bank, so would I say its the bank thing - obviously I wouldn't say your cheques are going to bonuce , real money only!!!!
what do you think?Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
I personally would stay with the cash on delievery, as the person knows when the order is coming, the problem with cheques, if they write the details on reserve of cheque and it bounces your not covered, same as if cheque has no details on it, again they are having the items and if the cheque did bince your out of pocket
The thing you need to keep in mind is why are the supermarkets and a lot of shops refuseing to accept cheques - simple answer fraud.
Sorry if I sound negative, but would rather be honest xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
avon actually state it is upto the rep if they take cheques or not.
I personally would never take them, too much faffing and at the end of the day, people know when they are getting their stuff and we arent talking a fortune, so they should not be bothered about cash0 -

My friend is a single mother on benefits and she places huge orders each month... I work full-time and used to treat myself to one thing every now and again from Avon... she is a beauty addict!
Those doing Avon... is it not possible for you to visit local business and leave catalogues there, say maybe in reception etc or ask a friend or family member to take books into to work for you and get orders. I used to work for a large Corporate company and a colleague did it and got huge orders each month... its worth a go.0 -
