  • In reality what are they gonna do with it other than send some rubbish offers through the post?

Have a look on this site for the companies names and if you dont like them dont use them - you can normally tell how good (or otherwise) the site will be and dont use ones you dont feel comfortable with.

A lot of sites are longstanding multi-million pounds Businesses and arent out to spam you.Are there any in particular that are bothering you?
  • Nope, in fact you've just confirmed what I said to my worrywart husband. I'm only giving the bare minimum of details, and only to companies I trust. Just wanted to be sure this was the best course to follow.

    Thanks!
In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!

If you put in fake details, will it not be accepted? (e.g. fake address, a different one each sign-up!)

this £100 is great but the insurance is fair to high in cost. i went on there and they said £177 with £100 off its £77 but thats if you get the £100 back and my current insur is £82 only.

I've read my way through the thread and was planning to ask the same question as rednutt. My husband is very worried about me putting our postal address in these things - how secure is it?

You can register for the preferential postal service which means your details cannot be sold on. Don't know how accurate it really is but it has reduced the amount of mail we receive.

Can recommend both quidco and topcashback, I have only being doing it for about 8 months and so far have earnt £511.00.

Not bad when it is on things I would have bought anyway.
  • I've only earnt £20+ in a Year, will have to read this thread more often ;)
Hi, I've already asked and been granted for permission via PM for a Help for Heroes link. Pfft.

As my previous signature said, I support Help for Heroes

Yay I've figured how to work this thing now!

Pocado sign up stated by you guys is £3, that's the only one i did and on my 'earnings' it says 4.50 validated. How come? YaY!

    I applied yesterday, had 3 e-mails from prospective suitors :o and it's validated at £4.50 overnight :j
Have deleted my file now it's validated so fingers crossed it's all good
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Dont know if I have the nerve to sign up for a dating site - free money or not as it feels kinda creepy. One thing that bugs me though is that some sites such as the Lands End one dont actually load for me, I just get a message saying tradedoubler click :(
