I do agree their business practices can be shoddy at times. However it's worth noting they aren't there for your benefit and as someone else pointed out it's essentially a sales role. They'll go for the easy money so if you're the ideal candidate you're likely to have a different opinion to someone who isn't quite top of the pile.
