I've never had a problem with insurance companies "ducking out of claims" quite the opposite in factNo.79 save £12k in 2020. Total end May £11610
Annual target £240000 -
we are limited to full annual payment rather than any monthly installments and some providers dont cover BR.0

Two claims = increased risk.
Of course your insurance premium will go up, whether your fault or not.
Protected NCD will protect the discount on the increased premium."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I renewed one of our car insurance policies last month, six months into bankruptcy.
As it happens, our existing insurer was the best value, so it was just renewed on the same basis, with monthly payments.
I could see that I thing about bankruptcy on the paperwork, so let the policy renew automatically.
Our buildings and contents policy was also renewed on the same basis - with monthly payments - in February.0 -

I didn’t have a single issue with getting monthly car insurance. I just used a comparison site.0
