Virtual meeting software

This may be a bit of a long shot, but if anyone has any knowledge or ideas on this, I'd be really grateful.
Is there any software around that can host a virtual meeting, with say up to 12-15 people, somewhat on the lines of a giant Facetime chat, where everyone can see each other and chat freely through microphones? I've seen a few webinars using Clicmeeting, but there you only see the presenter/s and participants can only type questions in a linked chat room.
Is there anything more interactive please? Any help greatly appreciated.

We used Cisco's Webex in the past, have a look at that.0

WebEx is full of features but clunky and expensive, they've been the IBM of web conferencing for a couple of decades and have got complacent.
Gotomeeting is slightly less feature rich but more intuitive and cheaper.0 -

we have skype for business at work that apparently does this.
However whatsapp can do it too, and it is hard to beat free software that works.
