Made redundant

Hello, my first post here.
We have been informed that the company is being dissolved in a few days time and we are all made redundant. We have not had any discussions with consultant, and we don't have reference number to apply for our redundancy payment.
Basically, we have no clue as to what is happening and what to do. Can you please let me know what happens next, and how can we apply for redundancy pay from the Government? I read information online but everywhere it says we need to have reference number, we don't have any.
Thank you in advance.

perhaps the employer will pay it?0

No, they won't.
They said we need to claim our money from the Government, that was all. I think they will only pay our final salaries.0 -

Thank you very much, this is our issue, we have no idea where to get this reference number.
We never had any consultation, we were just told we are made automatically redundant because the company is being dissolved. This apply to the whole team, including HR and admin staff so they have no idea either.0 -
This factsheet may be of use to you: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/redundancy-payments-rp1-fact-sheet
It confirms that the CN will be issued by the insolvency practitioner handling your employer’s insolvency, and that you should contact them to get it.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0
