Help me understand "accumulation" versus "income" funds

I think you both have solved my extra units mystery. I do indeed have several other funds in HL, which probably attract a loyalty bonus will be set to autopilot.0

What you see is HL trying to be helpful by showing you your gain as the tax man would see it but it's just a presentation/accounting thing. Some people don't agree with the way HL present this and other platforms may display it differently. I wouldn't get too hung up about it
That's right. Though for accumulation funds, it really isn't "how the tax man would see it" - I can only think it's an error in specification and/or programming, where a calculation that is valid for Capital Gains Tax on income units has also been applied to accumulation units, where it's not valid.0
