Dealdrivers.co.uk

Looking at buying a new clio and found this website www.dealdrivers.co.uk offering approx 25% off the price of the car (£12000 car offered for £9085), its a referal site that does not charge a fee just searchs for the cheapest car.

My question is - Has anyone had any dealings with this company? and do you think it looks ok? With such a large saving not sure whether its too good to be true?!?

Thanks for your help x

  • Thanks Crabman - should of looked there first!!!
  • DealDrivers also discuss private individuals information on this site! Well, once. But oncve too many...
  • The deal is real....honestly! We were recommended in the Sunday Times too this week for the same car I believe.

Harvey, ref your comment...you will find, if you search back, that there was nothing on our single post which had not already been raised by the thread-poster themselves on other previous threads (all raised by the same person) as they'd openly asked for comments and help with the issue we posted on. Both us and other posters had tried to helpn the person on the threads they'd started. We disclosed nothing that the thread-poster hadn't already disclosed themselves on the same forum in numerous posts and threads. You can check this out for yourself...we would never, and have never done otherwise, so please do check your facts before making a comment like that. We're genuine helpful people.

We have been approved to help enquirers on here since May 06 and have provided masses of genuine advice and saved a lot of buyers from falling down potholes when thinking about deals on cars, and helping folk to understand jargon used by sellers to disguise a condition of sale you might not be happy with.

We're one of only a handful of online car price sources which offer a genuine first registered owner deal and you are'nt 'buying on the internet' - you're buying normally from main franchised dealers and you talk to them direct..hence Martin Lewis is happy to recommend us along with 3-4 others, along with other major motoring press. We're even open to the public (very unusual from a broker!) so you can even come in and see us to discuss any car requirements or get product advice. We're in town centre offices.

  • Don't always assume these car brokers are the cheapest. It possibly does depend on what you are buying. However, after checking the prices on just about every car broker's website I was offered a better deal by a local main dealer without even having to resort to quoting online prices.
So give a local main dealer an opportunity to beat their prices first. Plus you get to pick up the car from the dealer without having to travel possibly many miles to collect or have the car "thrashed" by a delivery driver to your home!
It was approx. a £200 saving on the cheapest internet price!! Maybe I've been lucky but I know which I prefer.
