  • Park Watch have replied to my SAR today and it would appear that the PCN has also been cancelled.

Hahaha, was that the landowner that caused it, or can't you tell?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I can't really tell. It was cancelled the day after it was issued, which was also the day I received it and sent off my SARs and my complaint to the shopping centre. However I didn't speak with centre management until 2 days later, and even then he didn't say that it was cancelled.

Are you still going for the jugular?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • yup , all right them cancelling when you kicked off , but I wonder how many times they have lied to the DVLA regarding this site , and just how many mugs have simply paid up

    JUGULAR !!!! ,
  • I would like to as it's quite clear that what they're doing is outside the scope of POFA and somewhat shady particularly with their DVLA access. I'm going to waiting for the reply from council highways as to whether the bus station is covered by the TRO for the rest of the bus lane.

not only shady , but lieing to the DVLA , the DVLA should act and put them back on manual requests , therefore checking each and every incident , the BPA in essence have given them licence to use KADOE , and they also should act
  • Highways have just got back to me about the TRO for the bus lane. Unfortunately the document is quite old so no diagrams and only text. However it would appear that half of the bus station is covered by the TRO, where it is accessed from the council bus lane. However the other half - where my vehicle entered and where the photographs show my vehicle - would appear to not be covered. I'll upload a diagram/map and the TRO later on as I'm currently on the school run.
  • I've sent a further email to KSC today to explain what I believe to be the DPA/GDPR breach by Park Watch. I am hoping that this will give them a kick to review their dealings with Park Watch and ensure that things are dealt with properly in future.

I now need to draft complaints to DVLA and ICO. I am more than capable of doing this myself, mentioning "reasonable cause" reasons, KADOE contract, BPA CoP 20.7 etc, but was wondering whether there may anything else to capitalise on, or any other previous ICO/DVLA complaints on here anywhere? A search just finds loads of threads where people are advised to make complaints..
