Poor credit and how to improve

Options
Hi my first time on this forum and I have a few questions,
First of all my credit rating is very poor on Experian it’s 529 and credit score 132 I have 2 ccj to the value of £350 each approx although I never knew I was due in court, I’m assuming these are parking fines I would have paid them just to keep the ccj of my file, I’m trying to build my credit so I can get a mortgage I’ve just applied for a ocean finance credit card with 34.9% apr I’m my worried about the high interest because I’m only interested in the card for credit building purposes, please advise me what can I do to build my credit sufficiently so I can hopefully someday get a mortgage

Comments

  • Use the card and clear in full each month. The interest doesn't matter.

Pay the CCJs so they are satisfied.

Don't look at the credit scores as they'll worry you for no reason.
