Hello, I would very much appreciate any help.
The keeper of the vehicle has received a £70 fine (they're claiming that this is the 2nd letter they've sent out but they did not receive a letter at all) as they overstayed a 2-hour stay at Tesco. They stayed for a total of 2 hours and 22 minutes but this was due to the fact that the driver had lost their keys and could not find them anywhere. The driver went back into Tesco and they finally found the keys to the car after a period of time- a Tesco employee also helped the driver massively. What should the keeper of the vehicle do next?
Also, I read the newbie thread but I'm still confused so don't say to read that because I did before posting.
Thank you.

first job is complain to tesco and insist that the manager cancels this ticket
if necessary, complain to their CEO at head office, by email
the blue text template can be sent unchanged to HV by the KEEPER, no blabbing about who was driving, do so within the eppeal window, before it shuts, ir necessary
the ideal solution is that tesco get it cancelled , asap0 -
1. Send the blue text template appeal to Highview. Be careful when you submit it via their appeal portal as there's a nasty drop down box that will default to 'Driver' at the last moment. Take a screenshot immediately before finally pressing the submit button.
2. Major complaint to the Tesco manager (not Customer Services) and take in your receipt for the day, your Tesco loyalty card, and back copies of receipts, cc/bank statements to show loyal patronage.
Either of those should get this cancelled, but do both together for extra insurance. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Can the blue template still be used even if they've sent photos, specific time and dates? Just asking before I do that. The keeper of the vehicle will be going to Tesco in an hour and they will definitely do all of that.
Thank you0 -
I did state to send it UNCHANGED
you have no idea if they have sent everything they have
the idea is to get a cancellation or a popla code, so pointless nitpicking at this early stage
but the landowner cancellation is paramount0 -

Errm, Highview PCNs always look like that. They are the EASIEST to beat!
Just don't go ticking 'I was the driver and...' in their appeals page. Please don't ask which one to tick. Fed up with people asking that, it is obvious.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
