With using filehippo do i click on the updates ive downloaded to install them

If you mean the filehippo updater then yes - but it might not be necessary to download what they suggest in the first place.
Filehippo checks each program you have installed, and if there is a new version available it offers to download the full installer of the newer version. But it's often the case that it's worthwhile seeing if you can install an incremental update first.
For example, if I used the filehippo updater and it told me Firefox was out of date, I'd go into Firefox and click Tools > Check for Updates because I know from experience that Firefox can auto-update itself in seconds by downloading a tiny patch whereas if I do what Filehippo suggests and use their link, it'll download the Full installer for Firefox.
On the other hand if it told me Itunes was out of date, I'd just use Filehippo's link because I know with Itunes you always have to download the full version to update.0
