Hi,

Our car was left in a tesco car park a bit longer than usual on a couple of occassions.

Long story short, we are getting hammered with a letters for what are now pretty big sums, I have advised to bin the letters and ignore, but with warnings about court and credit scores etc I am getting a bit jittery.

We haven't responded to any of the letters so far.

keep all the letters (do NOT bin them)

do not respond, it goes away after 5 years in Scotland

the only time to worry is if you get a small claim using the simple procedures system for Scotland

a keeper is not liable in Scotland, so no blabbing, edit your last post so nobody knows who was driving, just use the words DRIVER and KEEPER, nothing more, plead the 5th

complain to Tescos CEO and get it cancelled, without revealing who was driving, so a complaint from the RK, who wasnt driving, so can say so (I was not the driver so stop harassing me)
  • Sadly some have been binned, but I have the latest ones.

do not bin any more, plus if this gets ant further the keeper should email a SAR to the DPO at HIGHVIEW and get all the data being held

its unlikely that Highview will take this further anyway, but you never know , hence the complaint from the RK to the tesco CEO
