DRO and lump sum
Options
Does anyone have any idea how big of a lump sum could trigger a revoking of DRO?
my husbands work had a share scheme, on the first anniversary of employment they are given a share.
Its not available to sell for another year, after a year they are the share is sold whether the employee wants to or not and they are paid it in their wages.
this will happen around july/august time which will be 5months into DRO. the shares are currently worth £1064 and are subject to tax and NI so looking at around £800.
will this affect his DRO?
any help gratefully appreciated
TIA

That should be OK.
Capital of <£1000 will not cause revocation; the DRO Unit has discretion between £1000 and £19900 -
Thank you.

I was given an unexpected tax rebate and working tax credit payment (they had underpaid me), which came to just under £1050.00. I rang the OR and they were fantastic, saying that as it was only just over the £1000 and I had no other assets (apart from my old car), that was fine. I was seriously relieved!0
