Bankruptcy advice

Options
I have been declared free from bankruptcy now for over 7 years. I have been contacted by a PPI company saying I’m allowed to claim and that it will not effect the fact that I’ve been bankrupt!! Is this the case?? I would hate to open a can of worms as now been discharged for over 7 years. Thanks

  • You're not allowed to complain.

    Only the OR is.

Claims company in big fat lie shocker.

The typical outcome is that any monies recovered as a result of a claim will go to the OR and the claims company will be asking you for their commission despite the fact that you personally have not recovered anything.

Anything owed to you prior to bankruptcy goes to the OR - no matter how much time has passed. It's seen as part of your estate which the OR manages in order to repay your debts.

My father claimed, the money had to be paid to the OR. Any PPI payout from any loan/credit card before your bankruptcy is not yours but the official receivers as when you went bankrupt they took over your finances both good and bad up to the date the order was signed.
