Certainly does appear to be a new tact as in my ongoing case and will interesting to see if they follow through and actually issue court papers or a final attempt at a threatogram.

If not are they carrying out action in house or hiding their allegencies with Gladstones

Well it's possible the Gladstones bunch will try it on
A judge has already said that such claims are business expenses and as such claimable against taxes

And to think SIP are attempting to make a profit on their fee to the DVLA ???
  • I’m sure SIP are only charging me £10 a pop for their letters.

So not to derail OP, more detail is required.Date of the LBC,espically as all post is going to his ex any serious delay may lead to an undefended case if other post has not been forthcoming

    £100 Fine
£5.35 in costs to obtain the registered keepers details from DVLA
£12.00 per letter sent, following the breach on contract (£48.00)
£0.23 in costs associated with the required Trade Association
£10.00 to operate, maintain and host the high-level security systems associated with keeper data (including staff, time and equipment).
It's ludicrous, written to try to show a genuine pre-estimate of loss, even though the Beavis case (effectively, as the Supreme Court remarked in the profit element of the PCN and stated that a PPC cannot pursue 'damages' as there is no loss) and the POFA 2012 as well, do not allow for recovery of more than the parking charge itself.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
