How do I turn Windows Defender on in Windows 10?

    It should be on by default, if you want to check click on the start menu and type 'Windows Defender', select Windows Defender Settings.

    Go to Windows Security settings. There should be a little shield on your task bar, just double click on that to open the settings. If not, click on notifications then All Settings and select Update & Security, then Windows Security.

    As mentioned it should already be on by default.
