Another Sky Question?

In order to get out of my contract early can I say I am moving when I am not. I could tell Sky I am moving in with a relative that already subscribes to Sky so I am unable to take my service to my new address. relative has same package as me.

Since Sky don't report to CRA's I cannot see how this will cause issues, as I'm happy to pay early termination charges when they produce a final bill.

Could this work. Please don't judge as financially struggling to pay Sky and tied into a contract until July. Could afford it when signed up but was made redundant and I am working elsewhere but on minimum wage and struggling to pay the basis essentials which Sky is not. There is no way of getting out of contract unless I default and don't pay my account.

I am really stuck!

Will early termination charges be cheaper than continuing until the end of the contract? Just be sure you give notice in time to end on the date you want.

Probably not, and as pointed out elsewhere Sky don't offer ETC's on their TV package.

Have you just tried speaking to them? Maybe try an email to the Jeremy Whatisname email address or a letter to the Edinburgh address?

Sky price increase email will give the option to escape contract penalty free or move ISP or do a new deal with Sky or terminate services .Need to follow instructions on email .

She's talking about TV, not BB. She has Virgin for phone & BB (and TV...)

People keep saying this... I suspect a lot of people are going to be in for a surprise when they realise what is written in the T&C's - You cannot leave a TV only service deal if the price increases during your minimum term contract. Go read the T&C's, even MSE have mentioned this.

You might once have been able to leave but not anymore, seems they have changed the T&C's.
