2 Expensive Ebay items ordered - one delivered one not

Ok, i'll try to be concise
* 2 items @ 240 each ordered 12/2
* Seller stated Royal Mail 48 delivery
* Posted 13/2 via Yodel. Desperately unreliable in my area and pickup site 100 miles return trip for me.
* Yodel tracking number not working
* Asked seller for update, he asked Yodel, they said they would be delivered "soon"
* Package arrives Saturday. Only one item in it. Escalated to seller
* Seller replies Saturday night says items shipped seperately due to size.
* Emailed seller on Monday asking for tracking information for second parcel so i can arrange to have someone there. No reply.
* Emailed seller again today. Awaiting reply.
* Items show as "delivered" in ebay as the one tracking number he supplied is the one that is delivered.
So -
* I've no idea IF the second item is going to arrive or is lost
* I've no idea WHEN the second item is going to be delivered - if at all
* If someone isnt at the house when it arrives i've a 100 mile trip to pick it up,
* If i'd known they were going to ship via Yodel not Royal Mail i'd not have ordered as they are terrible here in NI.
" Ithik the seller is withholding the second tracking number as the second item wasnt posted 13/2, if at all yet
I really need these items - two big professional quality fish tank filters that i need ASAP.
Ifeel like i am in limbo land here with neither the seller - who has got paid - and yodel - who have got paid - not really caring.
I cant easily escalate to ebay as the item is showing as "deliviered"
Should i contact ebay at this stage and if so how / what do i say? I dont want this closed down because it says "delivered"

Personally I would start by phoning ebay, explain exactly as above and say you are concerned about 2nd item and can they assist.

If you get someone thats less than helpful pretend to have issue with the phone, hello anyone there, are you still there? have you put me on hold? I cannot hear you?

Thanks both. Just to close the thread off, the seller came back to me yesterday PM to say the item was out for delivery, and would be delivered in the next 30 minutes. Fortunately i was able to ensure someone was there for pickup, so got the item

Of interest the seller provided a tracking number at that point for the second item, showing it was just posted on Monday 18th....
Very annoying, but i've the items now so all good.0
