cheap energy club - no movement...

Morning,
Looking for some urgent advice, as the deals end this week.
I’ll try and be very succinct 😂
Did a switch to npower, but cancelled within the 14 days, as the energy club deals came along, saving approx 20£ per month.
Did the switch to EDF two weeks ago, but have heard nothing other than the email from the energy club saying the process has started.
EDF (our current supplier, but switching to new tarrif) says they have had no details on the switch, and they won’t switch me direct to the MSE tarrif.
Contacted energy club, but no reply yet...
What should I do, it’s a huge saving per month, and I don’t want to miss out. Should I set up a new cheap energy club account and switch again? Or should I just wait it out?
Thanks!

The futility of calling the company during the switch is covered in the CEC FAQs

Should I submit another switch while I still can then?0

I did a switch on 31st Jan from my old EDF fixed tariff to a new fixed one on the CEC and it took nearly 3 weeks for the acknowledgement letter and email to come through from EDF.
The CEC site showed the switch was "in progress" all that time, but I just had to wait and cross my fingers.0 -
Nothing ever happens for the first 14 days, because that is the cooling-off period. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
