So, SKY have announced a price increase. Those in a minimum term for TV can't end early because of what is written in the terms and conditions.
Am I right in thinking Sky must notify you of a price increase in writing (be this letter or email) what happens if you don't get this, especially by letter - problems with post! Does that mean Sky have breached their terms and conditions by not notifying you.
Also If your TV package ends on 7th July, when can you give notice to cancel your subscription, is it 31 days before the 7th July or 31 days after 7th July.

Even more annoying is with Sky Q you can't end your contract early and pay the early termination charges. They really have you over a barrel with this now don't they.
My circumstances have changed months ago and I can no longer afford the increased cost of £27 (up from £25) I feel Sky are just making things more difficult.0 -
When did the terms and conditions change over this or has this always been the case?
Not happy at all about this.0 -
I believe they have changed also.
Ok my bad for not reading before signing up... But you use to be able to leave penalty free during your contract if prices went up. Now it reads one price rise is allowed during your minimum term contract.
It's also written in there that you can't reduced costs by removing HD (to save £5 per month) if that's what you signed up to at the beginning of your contract.
Sky seem to give no stuffs to people who might have gone into financial difficulty during their contract.0 -
Have managed to remove HD channels to save £5 a month.0
