URGENT Savings Calc Help

I had the same problem as most;
When I clicked the 'I'm saving up for...' tab, I could enter the figures, but then the red tab became 'unclickable', and there was an error on the page. I'm using Windows XP Version 7.0.
Good luck getting it sorted!Everyday I am asked to be a magician, in a world where magic does not exist.0 -
After saving £150 a month for 10 years and 0 months,
you will have £NaN in savings.
What does that mean.0 -
fine for me5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Using the "How long will it take me to save" option
I have £100,000
I want to save £99,999
I can save £1
Tells me it will take 1 month
In fact, if the "I have" is greater than the "I want to save", it tells me 1 month no matter how much greater.
I have 99,999
I want to Save 100,000
I can save £1 per month
Tell me "Well done you already have £100,000"
These two seem backwards!!
Using the "I want to save up for" option
If the amount you have is greater than the amount you want to save up for it calculates a negative value, including negative interest, rather than using the "well done, you already have enough money" message
General for all 3 options
In all of them the "How much tax do you pay" selection fields seem to have no effect whatsoever, no matter how high the amounts or rates are set
Changing the numbers and recalculating repeatedly and quickly caused a script failure in Firefox, worked fine in ie
It allows negatives and non-numerics in most of the fields, causing either weird results or the NaN (Not a Number) message.
Hope this helps0 -
3rd calc 'I'm saving up for... doesn't show the results when the 'How much?' button is pressed.
Also get same problem as wuffinon (you beat me to it!) - on 2nd calc,
if 'need to save' value < 'already have' value, result = it will take me 1 month to save up. Doesn't matter what figures I enter either - always shows 1 month to save up.
Does look good tho.

The first two options work fine, but the "How Much" button didn't work for me, either.Snortmaiden0
