Hi
I'm thinking of switching to Octopus via MSE Energy Club and then using their referral promotion to sign up my dad also. Dos anyone know if I will invalidate the link by using MSE first?
Many thanks

You’ll get the (£25?) cashback from MSE for signing up, then you’ll get the £50 credit for referring your dad. He will get £50 credit too.
The only thing you can’t do is try to claim more than signup bonus for yourself when you switch.0 -

Thanks for that. It's what I thought but just wanted to make sure.0 -
You can't use MSE and a referral link, the link takes you to Octopus's sign up page and means they can track who they give the credit to.
You can either do MSE or Referral not both!0 -

I think you have misread the reply to my question. I'm planning to join Octopus through MSE only and then offer my dad a link to join once I'm a customer.

There is nothing untoward about that.0
