    My OH did ours weekend before last then the binmen couldn't get down our street last week as it was blocked. Fortunately they collected it this week otherwise it would be getting pretty unpleasant in the bin with fermenting grass and food waste.

    I mow without the box, most of the time. It doesn't seem to make any difference. :eek:

    We have given our lawn it's first haircut a couple of days ago

    And now I have the joy of having my foster granddaughter becoming my real granddaughter. Can't ask for anything better

    UPDATE,
    As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted

    Never stopped mowing just the frequency has changed. Summer once or twice a week, winter once a fortnight or less if it stays dry. Here in West Cornwall the grass never seems to stop blooming growing.

    Mowed today. looks a lot better now. Earliest I remember mowing in the last decade or more. Needed doing though, quite long.
