PCN from london council issues 36 days after offence

Good Morning, I have received an unattended PCN 36 days after the alleged offence occurred. the vehicle is registered to the company so no issues having to go to a leasing company first. I am on the understanding that these have to be issued within a certain timeframe.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
