I keep reading threads where Coupon-Mad states that the forum has a 99% success rate with court claims from the forum

Can this be evidenced further ?

Yep, and something tells me you already know this. The figure is based upon people who stick around and take all forum advice, not people who grab a defence and run (they are not included in the stats I keep, even if they win).

I've kept records since the start of 2017, and I wait till the entire year is over, in case of blips early in the year that balance out later. That year there were just two cases lost, according to my records, and we had over 300 cases.

Last year I saw 5 cases lost that fit the bill and we had about 1000 court claims come through here. So even if I missed a couple of outcomes, and even if lots of people never came back, the 99% win rate is intact.

If you have stats you've been keeping that prove otherwise, let's see them.

This forum is the only place to come to defend a private parking claim.

Thanks for starting the thread - it increases the Google hit rate for people seeking info and advice about fines, charges, private parking appeals and defences.

Wasn't a similar thread started a few months ago asking exactly the same question?

Perhaps you would be kind enough to provide the links in that case .

Nameless must be really unlucky - just one of the few that have lost

    Not a forum assisted defence.

They went AWOL between 2014 & January this year. Even if they'd won I wouldn't have counted it. I did already explain my stats above.

I count the fully forum helped cases, only, of course.

Noticed that the thread title was changed, IIRC.

It no longer mentions the forum's 99% win rate! The subject of the thread.

If anyone wants help with parking ticket appeals, this is the place to come.

Rather like never paying a PPI firm to reclaim PPI (MSE's own message), absolutely no private parking appeals should be referred to any company charging money for it. EVER.

This forum recommends NONE OF THEM and for very good reason, TrustPilot being one.

    :)
