Ppi

I've paid PPI on credit card since 2005 with MBNA. I am still paying. I did not ask and specifically asked not to pay PPI as my husband and I both worked with good salary and we pay full amount every month. I was embarrassed to go back which is just silly. As I'm stil paying can I cancel now and still put claim in for past PPI. Or should I wait and put claim in new and still pay PPI. Thanks

  • If you don't want it, cancel it.

You can out in a complaint if you feel you have mis sale reasons. However, to choose to knowingly pay it for 14 years weakens your argument that you didn't want it.

Well, at least you know you didn't pay any PPI then.

As you paid the balance in full each month, you wouldnt pay PPI. So, what exactly it is that you are trying to reclaim?

PPI on loans and credit cards ceased to be offered by any lender years ago. Not sure how your policy is still running therefore?

I think you may well have had a PPI policy but if, as you say, you always paid off your credit card bill each month you won't have ever paid any PPI.

I'm not sure you are or ever have...
