Download and Run CPU-Z on your laptop for the info that you need.
Then take a look at Funky Giraffe for your memory.0 -
I dont see you saying what he needed to buy. i was giving him a very good peice of info saying that you should start at comp if you wanna learn anbout upgrading comps. you need to looka t the over view before you go slagging people off0

That is because you can barely read nor write.
The info is in my post.
Further to that, DDR2 SODIMM 533 or 667 1GB is around £20 a stick.
Goodness knows why you are banging on about buying a new PC, when the OP justs wants to purchase some RAM.
Should you be up this late? :rolleyes:0 -
The question was which laptop memory, and where to get it from cheap.

From what I've found, these should be compatible & the arguably the cheapest:
* Kingston Valueram 1GB PC2-5300 SODimm = £13.99 delivered (+2% Quidco cashback will reduce it by 25-30p
) / Or, get 2Gb for twice the cost
* Crucial 1GB PC2-5300 SODIMM = £17.61 delivered with the free shipping option (or £16.11 after 10% Quidco cashback) / Separate 2Gb kit = £35.24 (or £32.25 with Quidco)
