Replacing white horizontal bathroom radiator with vertical carbon steel

Hi
I’m wanting to replace my rusty white bathroom radiator with a vertical carbon steel radiator.
As the vales are different, how does it work? I’m assuming a plumber would make pipework alterations under the floor boards and chisel into the wall to bring the pipework up?
Is it a big job for a plumber?
Cheers

The new rad looks centre fed, looks an easy job. I wouldn't bother going behind the wall unless it was easy, just two chrome tails up from new holes in the floor. You'll need to order new chrome valves with your rad, the old ones chucked away.
I could DIY that in an hour so it shouldn't be that expensive.Signature on holiday for two weeks0 -
Is your room warm enough?
That doesn't look like the best of rads that you have at the moment, but as a rule, a chrome radiator like that isn't going to be as efficient as even an identical one in white, so it's important to check that the BTU output is going to keep you warm. Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Yes the room is warm enough at the moment and I measured the room so I knew which BTU I needed0
