How long to heat house

How long should it normally take for the temperature in the lounge, where the thermostat is, to rise from 14 deg C to 21 deg C when the heating comes on in the morning?
My heating comes on at 08:00 and it takes until about 09:15 before the thermostat switches off the heating, the boiler running continually until then.
The lounge does not feel cold once the radiators reach their temperature in about 10 minutes.

From 14c to 21c is a big difference and could take several hours.4kWp, South facing, 16 x phono solar panels, Solis inverter, Lincolnshire.0

These days you will find the temp at 0800 is above 14 - mine's already at 17 or 18.
How long do you actually run your heating for - mine's 0800 to 2200Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

It's not the outside temp which is important (unless you have all your windows open) -it's the temp that the thermostat sees.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
