    Yes, I appreciate that but a mortgage plays a big part in enhancing one's credit score and, in my case, evidencing a positive aspect of my credit history. Otherwise, you have a rather incomplete picture, especially considering the cost and responsibility of taking out a home loan.
  • A mortgage and any other financial product plays no part in enhancing ones score at all as, already stated above, the score is not a real thing seen or used by lenders.

    A lender is not obliged to report to any CRA’s and is also not obliged to start doing so on request.

    An organisation in NZ should have no right or reason really to check your UK credit history either
